About Me:

Born and raised in Memphis, Tn, I relocated to Birmingham, AL in 2021, driven by a calling that ultimately led me to become a certified personal trainer. My fervor for personal training lies in guiding individuals towards sustainable results by implementing safe and effective movement through specialized programming and client care. Overcoming an eating disorder and exercise addiction while restoring hormonal balance has fueled my passion project: using my story to uplift others. My hope is to inspire individuals seeking peace within their bodies and minds through intentional exercise. By fostering a connection with our bodies, establishing trust, and aligning proper nutrition with methodical programming, tangible physical results unfold.

Aside from fitness and health, my other passions include anything pink, country music, my faith, my chaotic family and friends, traveling and caffeine!

I aspire to continually motivate and educate women on proper nourishment and joyful movement. For me, personal training is an avenue to empower others towards confidence.

My Fitness Background:

My fitness journey began at a young age, exploring various disciplines like cross fit, reformer pilates, yoga, bodybuilding, HIIT, kick-boxing, cycle instructing, and more. Movement became my sanctuary as I discovered the intrinsic connection between mental and physical well- being. Faced with challenges in balancing nutrition and exercise during my formative years, I now leverage insights from my journey to educate others and help them reach their goals. Working with individuals across various fitness levels and age groups, I’ve found immense fulfillment in the meaningful work of guiding others in achieving their mental and physical wellness goals.

Certified in cycle instructing through Spinning and holding a personal training certification through ISSA, I’ve broadened my expertise through various roles and fellowships. Specializing in female hormonal health, pre- and post-natal exercise, nutrition coaching, and expertise in strength training/conditioning, functional training, weight management, and mind-body integration, my skill set encompasses a broad spectrum of capabilities.

I’ve had the honor of working with the company Consistency Breeds Growth as an intern, social media director and recipe creator. Working with professional athletes, I crafted nutrition blueprints to fuel their rigorous training regimes, emphasizing the crucial interplay of nutrition and programming for muscle growth, fat loss, and competition. Acquiring this knowledge and insight served as the initial step in my role as a trainer. As the owner of AB Fitness, LLC., I now work as a personal trainer for myself and many esteemed trainers in Birmingham to continuously expand my knowledge and expertise in my field. My belief in the transformative power of proper nutrition, intuitive movement, and optimized hormonal health drives my dedication to teaching others how to embrace their health journey.
